Bill Aiello

Bill Aiello is a retired postal worker with two books, poems and numerous articles to his credit. He is a performer, amateur photographer, salesman, and the Executive Director of the Miss Queens Organization, a local pageant in the Miss America system.

Proud of his Italian heritage, he has made two trips to Italy.  He also searches out Italian-American history in his travels around America. He has been a member of The Sons of Italy in America and Bella Italia Mia, a cultural organization in New York.

Bill marched in the last three Columbus Day parades on Fifth Avenue in New York City and twice in parades in Howard Beach, NY.

Bill credits his mother Concettina and his maternal grandparents with instilling pride in his Italian heritage. His upbringing in an Italian family has been the inspiration for the books he has published and his devotion to the natural world around him.
