CJ Martello

CJ Martello, is a Chicagoan residing in the Historic Pullman Community and he has been the author of the Petals from Roseland column for Fra Noi magazine. The column comments on current events and also takes a nostalgic look at growing up Italian-American. He is the author of the book: “Petals from Roseland: Fond Memories of Chicago’s Roseland, Pullman, and Kensington Neighborhoods” a compilation of the best of ten years of his column.

 

As an actor CJ presents his one man show: “George Pullman: the man and his model town” for community organizations. He is a docent and historian of the Pullman National Monument and a member of organizations such as the “Spaghetti-Os,” which keeps alive memories of Chicago’s Roseland Community from years gone by, and OSIA Leone d’Oro Lodge #2700 that serves to keep alive our Italian-American heritage.
