Tiziano Thomas Dossena
Tiziano Thomas Dossena holds a Bachelor in Arts in Italian (Queens College), a Bachelor in Science in Liberal Studies (Excelsior College) and a Bachelor in Arts in Environmental Science (Purchase College). His works have appeared in hundreds of magazines and anthologies in Italy, France, Greece, Switzerland, Canada and the United States, and he has received numerous awards for his poetry and journalistic work. Mr.Dossena was a contributing editor of the magazine USA Bridge Apulia (Lecce, Italy) and of its online version, BridgePugliaUSA.it, and is the Editorial Director of L’Idea Magazine (Yonkers, New York) since 1990, besides being the Editor-in-Chief of the Opera My Love and Opera Amor Mio virtual magazines (operamylove.com and operaamormio.wordpress.com).
Mr. Dossena has various blogs on book reviews and opera online, and a blog on books on BQE Media, with more than 500,000 visitors, besides being the editor of many books.
He is the author of a short stories collection, Caro Fantozzi, published in 2009 by Scriptum Press, co-author of the book Doña Flor, An Opera by van Westerhout, published in 2010 by Idea Publications, and the author of Sunny Days and Sleepless Nights (2016), The World as an Impression: The Landscapes of Emilio Giuseppe Dossena (2020), and Federico Tosti Poeta Antiregime (2021), all published by Idea Press.
He is a member of the New York Academy of Sciences, Accademia Tiberina, Accademia dei Bronzi, Accademia Marconi, Haute Académie Français, the Académie des Marches (France), OSIA and the Lions International.
In 2012, along with Leonardo Campanile, he was awarded the “Globo Tricolore Award” for his outstanding work in the publishing industry.
In 2019 Dossena was awarded the prestigious Sons of Italy Literary Award and the City of Yonkers proclaimed June 21st "Tiziano Thomas Dossena Day" for his outstanding work.
He is the editor of A Feast of Narrative anthologies and co-editor of Rediscovered Operas Series books on libretti.
