Cynthia Herbert Bruschi Adams, Ph.D. is the product of an American GI and an Italian mother whom he met and married in Roma in 1945.  She lived briefly in Italy as a child and has frequently visited her cousins in Italy.  She is a Professor Emerita from the University of Connecticut and a retired psychologist.  She has authored a textbook with Peter Jones, MD, numerous journal articles, two trade-books and in 2019 published Italian Spices: A Memoir.  She is currently completing a novel.  She and her husband Roger Adams live in Connecticut where their extended family is also located.
