Francesca Malara

     Francesca Malara was born in Milan, where she still lives, on 30 May 1994. From 2008 to 2013 she attended the Liceo Artistico U.Boccioni and continued her studies at the Academy of Brera. From 2015 she attended the School of Applied Arts of Castello Sforzesco, specializing professionally as an illustrator. Painter and designer with a passion for Italian comics, reader of adventure stories, she’s interested and keeps anything that might be useful for her future work (whether images, words heard, objects or pictures). Her dream is to be able to write all the stories that come to mind and naturally illustrate them, which is her passion. She loves to paint with oils, although she also appreciates materials such as acrylic and watercolors, but above all uses in all her works a very simple tool: the pen.

     Her artistic experience has always been influenced by the example of Achille Picco, Italian illustrator and painter, who initially encouraged her to continue to work to realize the dream of becoming a professional. In the period 2015/2016 she has participated and worked as a designer

at several international Comics’ Fair in Milan and in Turin.

 

 

     Francesca Malara e nata a Milano il 30 maggio 1994, dove tutt’ora vive. Dal 2008 al 2013 frequenta il Liceo Artistico U.Boccioni e prosegue gli studi presso l’Accademia di Brera. Dal 2015 frequenta la Scuola Superiore d’arte Applicata del Castello Sforzesco, specializzandosi professionalmente come illustratrice. Artista pittrice e disegnatrice, appassionata di fumetti italiani e lettrice di romanzi d’avventura, si interessa e conserva qualsiasi cosa possa essere utile per i suoi prossimi lavori (che siano immagini, parole sentite, oggetti o foto scattate). Il suo sogno nel cassetto e di riuscire a scrivere tutte le storie che le vengono in mente e naturalmente illustrarle, che e la sua passione. Adora dipingere a olio, apprezza anche materiali come l’acrilico e gli acquerelli, ma soprattutto utilizza in tutti i suoi lavori uno strumento molto semplice: la penna.

     La sua esperienza artistica e stata da sempre influenzata dall’esempio di Achille Picco, illustratore e pittore italiano, che fin dall’inizio l’ha incoraggiata a continuare a lavorare per concretizzare il sogno di diventare professionista.

Nel biennio 2015/2016 ha partecipato e lavorato come disegnatrice presso alcune fiere internazionali del Fumetto a Milano e a Torino.
