Marilyn Antenucci

Marilyn Antenucci is a second-generation Italian-American.  In 1902, her grandfather, Salvatore, emigrated to the United States from Pietrobbondante in the Molise/Abruzzi Region of Italy. He settled in Pueblo, Colorado, where together with his wife, Angelina, they cultivated a truck garden farm and raised seven children.  Marilyn spent happy childhood days running through her uncle’s fields of Pueblo chili peppers.  She has a B.A. in English and an M.A. in English/Creative Writing.  After living all over the United States with a career in education and the Federal Government, she retired to the city of her roots.  Each day she is grateful for the risks and sacrifices made by those she sadly never had the privilege of knowing.
