
Peter C. Alfieri
Born in July, 1953, growing up in Brooklyn, and being raised by first generation Italian-American parents, Peter Alfieri and Madeline Sasso, he enjoyed the family life and culture typical of other Italian-Americans of his generation.
After attending St. Francis College (BA, Sociology, 1975), and Fordham University (MA, Sociology, 1977), he accepted a position with the Department of Defense (DoD) in Human Resources in Northern New Jersey, where he worked from 1978-1992 in the areas of wage compensation and employee relations. In 1993, he accepted a management position with the Office of Personnel Management in Philadelphia, where he served until his retirement in June, 2019.
He lives in South Jersey, and has a daughter, Adelaide, who is also a member of the local chapter of the Sons of Italy where they are both active in the lodge and play on the bocce team which he captains.
