Sharon Santamaria Nikosey is a second generation Italian-Irish American living north of Boston, MA. She and her husband Don actually did run the 100th Boston Marathon in 1996. She is a member of the OSIA Lodge 1732 in Wakefield, MA where she helps with photography and Public Relations. She works full-time at a healthcare company and part-time as a Track Official. She has two adult children, Eric and Marlena. This is her first short story.
