Steve Piacente is an award-winning novelist and former Washington correspondent who serves as Training Director at The Communication Center in Washington, D.C. Steve, who has also worked as a speechwriter in the U.S. government, teaches writing at American University and is a certified life coach and owner of Next Phase Life Coaching. He holds a Masters in fiction from Johns Hopkins University and has published three novels and a self-help book. Steve grew up in Long Island, New York, and has roots in Southern Italy.
